New Study Proves Vitamin D Helps Against Covid-19

The following new study published today proves that Vitamin D helps against covid-19 and speeds up recovery. The study published is: “Calcifediol treatment and COVID-19-related outcomes“.

The authors concluded: “In patients hospitalized with COVID-19, calcifediol treatment significantly reduced ICU admission and mortality”. The dosage used was “532ug on day one plus 266ug on day 3, 7, 15, and 30”.

Note that the dosage 532 mcg (micrograms) corresponds roughly to 21,000 IU. 266 mcg is roughly equivalent to 10,000 IU.

In my experience, I used 40,000 IU Vitamin A and 20,000 IU Vitamin D twice on the first day of infection and repeated the same dose in the evening, along with about 25,000 mg Vitamin C. I think that in the case of Covid-19 taking more antioxidants will definitely be more helpful. But even though the author’s dosage was quite low, they reported favorable outcomes.
